Description:

DOST Re-Bar  is composite pultruded bar made from epoxy impregnated fiber with unidirectional(linear) structure and standard dimensions.

Usage areas:

         Historical bulding reinfrocement

         At columns with lack of reinforcement

         At damages on structures.

Specifications:

Its application is so easy. It can be cut as needed by tin shears or spiral.

Preparation of floor:

Concrete should be sound and have enough strength. Floor should be cleaned and free of oil, dust, filth, water and moisture. Weak concrete pieces should be broken and repaired by high strength repair mortar.

Application of material:

Epoxy paste is mixed proportionally, and applied on concrete and re-bar as a thin layer. Re-Bar needs to be  free of dust, oil, and filth.

Advantages:

         Very light.

         Good high and low temperature properties

         High Tensile modules and strength

         Good resistance against chemicals and moisture

         Very easy and quick installation

         Minimize the application errors

Caution:

Use of a particle mask is recommended for possible airborne particles. Gloves are recommended when handling strips to avoid skin irritation. Safety glasses are recommended to prevent eye irritation.
